Casino games can be addictive, but this has not stopped a lot of people from trying the different games. Â In countries like the United States and several European countries casino fever has really taken off. Â Since casinos involve a lot of money, it is not surprising that there are rumors that associated casinos with criminal elements in some areas. Â The casinos are famous, none-the-less. Â Las Vegas and California are the major casino locales of the United States

Casinos are part of the hospitality industry, and why many of the casinos are housed in buildings that have hotels on the upper floors with restaurants available. Â To avoid a huge amount of money exchanging hands on all the casino games, chips are used in the place of money. Â Counters in the casino are designed to exchange the chips for money when you are starting and when you have finished playing the game, and they exchange them for cash equivalents.

These chips or tokens can be said encourage people to spend more than they would, as most people do not realize that they represent money, but rather see them as tokens.  This is the mindset that casino owners are always looking to take advantage of.  The tokens are chips made by casino owners to act as a catalyst for more gambling for the individual.  For example, you might have heard some who has run out of tokens on the casino floor say, “I have run out of tokens”, instead of saying I do not have any more money.

The chips are manufactured using a different assortment of materials, and they can not be found in market places. Â There is high security placed on the chips so as to stop fraudsters. Â Chips are made of plastic, clay, metals, and ceramic.

The chips have special designs, weights, about eight to ten grams, and are of different colors.  Each color represents a specific amount of money. In order to keep fake chips from entering the casino floor, the casino industry has taken high-tech measures.  The chips have a design that is unique to that casino, and they are designed in special and odd sizes and shapes.  Technology in casinos has also spread to playing chips, to stop counterfeiting of the tokens. Some of these technologies include RFID and UV.

Card games have long been associated with casino’s.  Casinos offer games that have been around for some time, and a few new addition that have been introduced into the lineup.  Baccarat is a game that intimidates most people because of its name, and most people do not want to give the game a chance.  The game is played with a large pool of players, which can number from 12 to 14.  The seats are also numbered, but the number 13 does not appear.  There is a smaller version of the game called Mini-Baccarat, and it is played on a blackjack table

The number of choices that a person can make is limited to three, and they are betting on the player, banker, or tie.  The game starts with placing a bet on the cubes on the table that say player, tie, and banker.  It does not matter how many players are playing, only two hands can be dealt, and these hands are for the player and the banker.  The aim of the game is to place a bet on the hand that comes as close to nine as possible.  The totals on the cards are just like  poker; the numbered cards are their number, an ace is one, and the face cards  are counted as zero.  The banker will turn over his cards, and the player turns over his.  For the player to win, his first two cards have to add up to eight or nine.  (A 10 is always subtracted from the first two cards, so that the player is able to get to a single digit.)  This is called a natural, and if the banker can not tie it, then the player wins.  In some instances, the banker may have a nine to beat the players eight, and the player loses.

The game is simply about pure luck, but some people like to check the past outcomes of the game. Â Many will find out that the banker will win the majority of the time, and that is why most people place their bets on the banker, but there is a commission that has to be paid when doing that.

Another table game is Caribbean Stud.  The lure for most people with this game is that they can make a side bet, to put themselves in line to win the progressive jackpot.  This has brought people to this game in droves, even though the odds are against them wining the jackpot. The game is an offspring of poker, thus it is played on a blackjack table.  Individuals play against the dealer.  Everyone has to make a table minimum bet, and the player places the bet in the ante.  This is when a player can make a bet for the jackpot in front of him.  The dealer gets five cards, like the rest of the players, but one of his cards will be facing upward.  The players can either hold their bets or they can raise them.  If a player chooses to raise his bet, then he has to double his initial bet.  To end the round, the dealers hand is revealed.  The dealer’s hand has to contain an ace, king, or better, and if it does not then the players are paid more for their initial bet.  The second bet is neither a loss nor a win, it is called a push.  If you manage to get a hand that beats the dealer, then you are paid more for you initial bet and for the second bet, according to the hand that you hold

Playing poker online is fun, innovative, and financially rewarding, but sometimes it can become a bit boring playing and losing against strangers. Â You really miss playing home games with your friends. Â A private online poker table will help you bridge the gap between playing home games with your friends and playing alone on the internet. Â Private online poker tables allow players to use one of the tables at any major poker site, and use it as there own private table, were they can invite friends and players they know.

Most online poker sites have private table facilities, which can help you set up and play at your own private table within minutes. Â Party Poker is one such site, and the procedure on how to open a private poker table with Party Poker is outlined below.

The first step is to open your party poker client on the computer, and click the options pull-down menu at the top, which is just the below the welcome message for the Party Poker site.

You then click on “create private tables” in the pull down menu.  You will see a pop-up form were you get to choose the type of game that you want to play, for example, Texas Hold’em, Seven-Card Stud Poker, Omaha Poker, etc.  You also get to choose the stakes for your table, for example, if you choose Texas Hold’em Poker and select the stakes options, you have the option of $1/$2, where you will be playing a limit table.  The small blinds are 25 cents and the big the big blinds are 50 cents.  To get a no-limit option, you select the fixed-price option such as “NL $25”.  You get to choose the price of the buy-ins.  You can also create a password for your table.

Once the form is complete, you are given 10 minutes to sit at the table.  This is where you have to pay close attention, because, in order to find your poker table, you need to use the panel on the far left of the client.  You will find it in a directory-type information file which is divided into five sections labeled Real Money, Party Poker Million, Sit n Go, Tournaments, and Play Money.  Each of these has its own subsections.  You need to go to the top “Real Money” section, and click the small box with a “+” sign in it to expand the listing.  From the list that you get, you then choose the game you want to sign up for.  The stakes and the buy-ins, all the information you selected in stage two for your table will appear in a list, and it will be called “your Names pvt table 1”.  You then click on that table, and join as you normally would.

You should make sure that all you friends are available and ready to play, because you only have ten minutes from the time you set up the private table to take your seats at the table. Â Make sure all your friends know the password and have clear instructions on how to log on to the table.

Last, but not least, you play.  Remember, it’s not always about winning with online poker, but about playing with friends and having fun.
