The best poker player, world has ever seen Phil Hellmuth, was born on July 16, 1964, in Madison, Winconsin of United States. His game play in Poker started when he studied in the University of Madison for three years. His interest towards Poker made him drop out of studies just to play poker in full time. His professional career in poker began when he was 24.
In 1989, he became the youngest player to win WSOP title defending by defeating the then best poker legend Johnny Chan. He continuously won bracelets from 1989 to 2007. In the advent of 1989, his first participation in the World championship was recorded. His strategy made him win the first bracelet in $1000 no limit hold’em world championship. With this inspiration and others support he made it through to win three bracelets in 1993 world championship. With his longing victories he never had to look back or think about his career. Again in 2003 World championship he earned two bracelets. And with this he made it to win nine bracelets in total.
His innovation proved right and in 2003 he won another bracelet in the World championship. This made him to be one of the best poker players in the World. He has become very famous for his talent and also his attitude. In 1996, he was voted the “best all-round tournament poker player in the worldâ€.
He is known for his sarcastic comments and scathing remarks. His attitude led people in a wrong way when in 2002 he claimed that he would have won everyone if luck wasn’t a factor. Phill is also known for his business strategies. He writes a few articles and pages on some popular magazines. He is also planning for his movie. He is also the author of three best selling books “Play Poker like the Pros,” “Bad Beats and Lucky Draws”, and “Texas-Hold’emâ€. He is now a recruited by Ultimate Bet.
