Assault at Poker Table
A fight broke at the Asia-Pacific Poker Tour event in the last week. According to Devonshire, during the second chance tournament at Bellagio Sunday night, Tony Korfman choked a guy after the tournament.
According to Devonshire, Korfman might have reported the matter to the event Director Jack McClelland, who will take necessary action.
Poker-after-dark
The fifth season’s finale of NBC’s Poker-after-dark will start in two weeks for giving an unprecedented action. Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hansen, Patrik Antonius, Tom Dwan and Phil Hellmuth are all hitting this finale.
The minimum buy-in in the finale is $100,000 and the maximum buy-in is $250,000. Blinds starts at minimum $200/$400 and can increase to #300/$600. Prop bets is also allowed.
Full-Tilt Poker Million
James Akenhead has won the Full-Tilt Poker Million title and $500,000 in World-Series of Poker Main-Event and World Series of Poker-Europe Main Event.
James said “I have made many final tables but did not come first in the final table. Winning a big event is really fantastic. I have trusted my reads and I did not make many mistakes in this event. So, I was able to win the event.â€
Taylor Caby stood seventh, Luke “FullFlush” Schwartz stood fourth and Juha Helppi stood second in the game.
